A Copper Transformation

Throughout the last few years, we have seen many kitchen trends come and go, but copper is certainly one to stay. We’d like to show you how to add copper into your kitchen to create the perfect look by looking at a kitchen we have recently installed.

When including copper elements into your kitchen, it is important to distribute them, subtly and evenly. It is not one of the easiest materials to clean, so you don’t want a kitchen entirely from copper unless you haven the time to be polishing it all day long. But pairing it with neutral colours, can add character to your kitchen and create a fantastic, elegant feature to your home.

Here’s how we added copper to this recent kitchen re-design in Hampshire:

Copper handles – By using copper handles, we were able to spread a small amount of copper throughout the entire room.

Copper extractor fan & copper splashback – The copper extractor fan creates a striking and sophisticated image as you enter the space, coupled with the splashback, it makes a real statement piece to the room.

Cooking utensils – A fantastic feature in this kitchen, which lights up a plain white wall and complements the rest of the room very well.

Lighting – An important feature to any kitchen is lighting, and getting this right can transform a space. These copper pendant lights really do illuminate the room.

Ornaments – Finally, it’s the small touches which can add that extra special feel to a kitchen without creating clutter.
